ADVISORY ON THE USE OF THE UST NAME, SEAL, AND LOGO BY STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS | September 1, 2026

The Office for Student Affairs (OSA) reminds all student organizations to observe University policies on organizational recognition and the responsible use of the University’s name, seal, logo, and other identifying marks.

Under the UST Student Handbook, the name “University of Santo Tomas” or “UST,” and its registered seal, may not be used unless duly authorized by the Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) and duly processed through the pertinent University offices.

Accordingly, organizations or groups that are not included in the official list of recognized student organizations for A.Y. 2026–2027, including those with pending or incomplete applications, should refrain from using the official UST seal, logo, name, or other University marks in a manner that may imply official recognition, accreditation, endorsement, or authorization by the University. This prohibition applies to social media pages and posts, publicity and event materials, registration forms, correspondence, sponsorship materials, merchandise, organizational documents, and other printed or digital materials.

Duly recognized organizations are encouraged to help preserve and promote the University’s identity by securing the appropriate authorization before using the UST name, seal, logo, or other identifying marks, consistent with applicable laws and University policies.

Student organizations that may need guidance on their recognition status or the proper use of University marks are welcome to coordinate with OSA.

For a year, the SPS Society Executive Board of Academic Year 2025–2026 gave their time, heart, and purpose to a shared vision. Through synergy, they shaped moments worth remembering and a Society that continues to grow from the work they began.

Terms change, titles change, and new leaders step forward. Still, some things remain in the people we have worked beside, the lessons we have learned, and the kind of leadership we choose to carry with us.

Last July 3, the Sports Science Society gathered with our Batch 2027 interns, their families, and the Sports Science faculty for 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙡𝙚: 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝 2027 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙎𝙚𝙣𝙙-𝙊𝙛𝙛 & 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣—a day dedicated to preparing and encouraging our interns before they officially stepped into the field.

Now, more than a month into their internship journey, we hope this day continues to serve as a reminder of how far they have already come and how much more there is to learn. To our Batch 2027 interns, 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙪𝙥 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙪𝙥, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩. 💪🎓
