CXBL SEASON 3 – GAME RECAP

A toe-to-toe battle from start to finish saw ONE ESA escape Smart Enterprise, 83-79, securing another hard-fought victory and improving their record to 4-2.

It was a battle between two elite scorers as Jhomari Garcia of ONE ESA erupted for 32 big points, while Smart Enterprise’s Rhoden Castillo exploded for a monster 37-point performance in an exciting scoring duel.

Garcia was locked in from the opening tip, delivering a dominant all-around performance of 32 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 blocks. His relentless effort on both ends of the floor was unmatched, doing everything necessary to lead ONE ESA to another crucial victory.

Despite the loss, Smart Enterprise battled until the final buzzer behind Castillo’s incredible 37 points, including three triples that helped keep his team within striking distance. However, a late-game collapse combined with the absence of their key big man proved costly in the closing stretch.

With the victory, ONE ESA improves to 4-2, while Smart Enterprise falls to 2-3 after another tightly contested battle.

CXBL SEASON 3 – GAME RECAP

A convincing victory for PLDT Hoops as they powered past Fiber Hoopers, 110-83, to bounce back and improve their record to 3-3.

Mellad Sandoval had a monster night, recording a double-double of 25 points and 12 rebounds, including an explosive 16 points in the third quarter. His relentless effort and presence on both ends of the floor set the tone for PLDT Hoops and played a major role in securing the victory.

PLDT Hoops displayed tremendous depth with six players scoring in double figures. Liaguno and Rogie Gelano poured in 18 points apiece, Jacob Austria contributed 12 points, Oropesa added 11, while Relingo chipped in 10 points. Their balanced scoring attack and team chemistry proved too much for Fiber Hoopers to overcome.

Despite having only five available players, Fiber Hoopers showed tremendous heart and continued to battle until the final buzzer. Art Lacsamana led the charge with a monster all-around performance of 15 points, 15 rebounds, and 6 blocks, while also knocking down five three-pointers.

In the end, PLDT Hoops’ depth and balanced offensive attack made the difference as they improved to 3-3, while the short-handed Fiber Hoopers remain winless at 0-5.

CXBL SEASON 3 – GAME RECAP

A thrilling Friday showdown saw PLDT Ballers pull off a huge upset over the No. 2 seed PLDT Olympians, 74-68, securing another big win and improving their record to 2-4.

Jhang Anduyo was sensational from start to finish, once again carrying PLDT Ballers when they needed him most. The star guard delivered a monster all-around performance with 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists, showcasing his deadly scoring ability and leadership to power his team to the upset victory.

Anduyo’s aggressiveness and ability to create offense proved crucial, especially in the closing stages as the Ballers stayed composed and finished the job against one of the league’s top teams.

On the other end, Sherman Sebastian stepped up for PLDT Olympians, recording a strong double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. However, his efforts were not enough as a late-game collapse proved costly for the Olympians.

With the statement win, PLDT Ballers improve to 2-4, while PLDT Olympians suffer their second loss and fall to 4-2 in the standings.
