We have decided not to continue participating in the league due to the distant location of the games. Additionally, considering that most of the players are minors, it is not advisable for them to travel long distances. The safety and well-being of the players remain our top priority, especially given recent concerns.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY

The IDLIP Basketball League would like to inform fellow leagues, organizers, and the basketball community for awareness and due diligence.

Based on our official league records, a representative of Team Brawlers Marikina identified as Coach/Manager Ariel Cecogo, has a prior participation record with an outstanding balance that remains unsettled as of this date with no intention to pay.

We also note that the said representative formally signed a League Participation Agreement during the Coaches Orientation, acknowledging league rules, responsibilities, and financial obligations.

We have also received similar reports from other league organizers. While these have not been independently verified by our league, we are sharing this information in good faith to promote transparency and proper coordination within the community.

In accordance with our league policies on accountability and compliance, Team Brawlers Marikina is currently not permitted to participate in IDLIP Basketball League activities until the matter is resolved.

We acknowledge that there may be circumstances surrounding this situation and remain open to communication for a proper and fair resolution.

This advisory is issued solely to inform and encourage due diligence among league organizers when handling team registrations and commitments from Brawlers Marikina.

We respectfully remind all players, coaches, and team representatives to uphold their responsibilities and honor agreements to maintain fairness and integrity across all leagues.
