Itinampok ng Masbate Sports Academy (MSA) ang payak ngunit makabuluhang diwa ng bayanihan, pagtutulungan, at pagkakaisa ng mga magulang at partners nito sa pagbubukas ng Brigada Eskwela (BE) 2023 na may temang “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” nitong Agosto 14, 2023.

Sa anunsyong isinagawa ng Kagawaran, binigyang-diin ng BE ngayong taon ang mga inisyatiba ng buong bansa upang matiyak na magkakaroon ng malinis, ligtas, inklusibo, at child-friendly na learning environment ang mga mag-aaral, g**o, at ibang kawani ng Kagawaran, at maging matatag ang mga paaralan at basic education.

Kaugnay nito inilabas ng Kagawaran ang DO No. 21, s, 2023, o ang 2023 Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines, upang gabayan ang mga paaralan sa pagpapatuloy ng mga aktibidad sa pakikipagtulungan at tiyakin na ayon ito sa layunin ng MATATAG Agenda.

“ Kaunti man tayo ngayon dahil na rin sa layo ng ating mga magulang pero ang suportang kanilang ibinigay ay sobra-sobra sa sapat" ika ni Rufino Arellano ang OIC Pirncipal ng MSA.

"Payak lang ang ating pagdiriwang pero ang tunay na puso sa bayanihan ay talagang ramdam na ramdam namin lalo na sa pagdayo pa ng mga magulang mula sa ibat-ibang munisipyo ng probinsya para lang makilahok sa aktibidad na ito", dagdag ni Arellano.

Samantala, inanunsyo naman ng MSA ang pagbubukas ngayong taon ng kanilang Senior High School (SHS) sa lahat ng mga magulang na dumalo, ito'y matapos maaprobahan ang permit to operate ng paaralan nito rin lang lunes, Agosto 14, 2023.
