This meaningful recognition was initiated by Hon. Paolo "Kuya Pao" Rabat, in appreciation of Angeloโ€™s dedication, discipline, perseverance, and outstanding achievements in Taekwondo. ๐Ÿฅ‹๐Ÿ‘

For Angelo, the experience was more than just a competitionโ€”it was a ๐๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ž ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ž.

He shared how surreal it felt to finally step onto the ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐“๐š๐ž๐ค๐ฐ๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐ฆ๐š๐ญ that he had only ever seen on YouTube, ๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ข๐œ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฌ he had only watched other world class athletes use, and ๐œ๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ ๐š๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ ๐š๐ญ๐ก๐ฅ๐ž๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ he had previously known only from videos.

And then came another unforgettable momentโ€”seeing ๐“๐š๐ž๐ค๐ฐ๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฌ in person, athletes whom he once could only watch on YouTube.
For a ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ-๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ-๐จ๐ฅ๐ ๐“๐š๐ž๐ค๐ฐ๐จ๐ง๐๐จ ๐‰๐ข๐ง from Mati, simply being there already felt like a ๐๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฆ.๐ŸŒ™

But winning a medal?๐Ÿ…

That made everything feel overwhelming.

What once seemed so distant and impossible had suddenly become real. From watching international Taekwondo competitions on a screen to actually standing on that same world-class mat, competing alongside some of the best young athletes from different countries, He experienced a moment he will surely carry with him for the rest of his journey

The celebration became even more special when Hon. ๐“๐ก๐จ๐ฆ๐š๐ฌ ๐ˆ๐ˆ๐ˆ ๐’๐ž๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐จ generously gave a surprise cash incentive to ๐€๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฅ๐จ in recognition of his remarkable accomplishment. Your generosity and support for our young athletes are deeply appreciated. ๐Ÿ™โค๏ธ

Likewise, Hon. Paolo Rabat presented Angelo with a Plaque of Recognition together with a cash incentive, making this milestone even more meaningful and memorable. ๐Ÿ…๐Ÿ’ฐ

To our dear public servants, Hon. Thomas Sebelleno and Hon. Paolo Rabat, thank you for recognizing the hard work and sacrifices of our young athletes and for encouraging them to continue pursuing excellence.
