HOMEGROWN DAVAO PLAYERS 😤 ONE MORE WIN 🦅
DAVRAA MAGINGAY!!! FINALS BOUND!
In a heart-stopping semifinal clash between DAVRAA and CLRAA, the intensity reached a boiling point as DAVRAA emerged victorious with a razor-thin 66–65 win to book their ticket to the finals. The momentum shifted late in the fourth quarter when Sebastian Laroya turned on the heat, rallying the team and igniting a scoring run that put DAVRAA ahead. Their composure at the line was unmatched, shooting free throws at a perfect 100% rate during crunch time. With 3:20 left on the clock, the score stood at 62–57 in favor of DAVRAA. But CLRAA fought back hard, narrowing the gap to 62–61 just a minute later. Bayanban responded with a clutch three-pointer at 2:15, re-extending the lead to four points, 65–61. As tensions rose, both teams found themselves in penalty, and every possession became do-or-die. Moral buried a three-pointer with 1:04 remaining to cut the lead to 66–64, but disaster struck for CLRAA when he suffered a sprain with just 40 seconds left, putting their momentum at risk. With 20.1 seconds left and DAVRAA still up by 2, Peligrino was trapped and called for a traveling violation, handing CLRAA a golden chance. Bayanban then fouled Domingo with 13.1 seconds to go—Domingo hit one of two free throws, trimming the lead to a single point. DAVRAA tried to stall with a timeout, but a traveling violation on Mundas at 9.9 seconds gave CLRAA yet another chance. In the final stretch, a crucial error saw Illiscas lose the ball out of bounds, giving DAVRAA possession with just 1.9 seconds left. As pressure mounted, CLRAA was forced to foul Bajenting, who stepped up to the line and sealed the victory. In a game filled with momentum swings, big-time plays, and final-second drama, DAVRAA held strong and punched their ticket to the finals, defeating CLRAA 66–65.
