Update on Rene Baterbonia & Divine Adili's case.
The NBI has recommended the DOJ (Department of Justice) to file reckless imprudence resulting in homicide to Tab Baldwin and 6 other assistant coaches, & the team's physical therapist.
Authorities also recommended to file 'simple negligence resulting in two counts of homicide' against Ateneo's Athletic Director and the 3 resort owners/managers in Dipaculao, Aurora.
In total, 11 people are being recommended to be charged with homicide according to NBI.
Following the drowning incident of the two young athletes, many of their fans and followers are crying for justice, while many are flooded by fake news and baseless speculations some people asks is this really the justice they are looking for?
Will Baterbonia's & Adilis supporters finally have closure if a case has been filed? Was the recommended charges 'fair'? What do you guys think?

āUnfair, unprofessional, iniwan kami sa ere.ā
San Juan Knights management said that Mikeās salary was seven figures a month, a fully furnished condo unit, a vehicle service plus business class seating when travelling (probably by air or sea).
A sign that Mike is receiving excellent care from the San Juan Knights.
He also has an opt-out clause on his contract, meaning he could leave anytime.
However, the management did not appreciate Mike leaving all so sudden. āHe didnāt have the balls to talk to us, it was only his brother (Ben) who informed us of his sudden departure.ā Jun Usman, the team manager said.
āSobrang unfair lang nito saamin, kasi binigla lang kami, parang iniwan kami sa ere. Pano kami ngayon.ā He added.
They also said they couldnāt reach Mike even after multiple texts and calls. His brother just called them to let them know they are terminating their contract.
Following Mike Phillips international performance with Gilas, a Japanese B-League team signs Mike for a 3-year contract.
Do you think this is a fair move by Mike? Or he should have paid respects to his team before leaving?

Another player leaving the Philippines?
Mike Phillips will no longer be playing for the San Juan Knights of the MPBL.
In an interview, Benjamin Phillips, Michaelās brother said that Mike caught the attention of several professional teams during his Gilas stint in the FIBA World Asian Qualifiers.
Mike had a stellar defensive performance during his Debut game against New Zealand and the 14-rebound performance against Australia.
This is both an amazing & sad news. If Motor Mike would be able to play in leagues like Korea, Japan or even Australia - he would gain the experience and hone his talent more for the national team.
However, the sad part is realizing: when talents like Mike chooses to grab opportunities abroad instead of whatās available in our country, it could only mean few things.
