𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧, 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗗, 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡

The 𝗘𝗩𝗥𝗔𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝘅 𝗢𝗖𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗝𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 may have concluded their Palarong Pambansa 2026 journey and narrowly missed the knockout round after their early morning match with R1AA, 96-73, but their story goes far beyond wins and standings.

Through every game, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁, 𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿-𝘀𝗮𝘆-𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.

They fearlessly faced powerhouse teams and battled against bigger, taller, and stronger opponents.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝘂𝘇𝘇𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗲.

The 𝗘𝗩𝗥𝗔𝗔 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝘅 𝗢𝗖𝗖𝗖𝗜 𝗝𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 may have fallen short against defending champions DAVRAA, 70-63, but they fought with heart and determination until the final buzzer.

It was an honor to share the court with a team like DAVRAA, and even greater pride to the Jr. SHEERMASTERS competing with courage on the Palarong Pambansa 2026 stage.

𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦! The 𝗘𝗩𝗥𝗔𝗔 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, proudly represented by the Ormoc City Senior High School, opened their 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 campaign with a victory against the host region CARAGA in the 𝟱𝘅𝟱 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 elimination round today, May 23, 2026 at Agusan del Sur.

The Metro Ormoc Community Multipurpose Cooperative (OCCCI), in partnership with the Municipality of Albuera through the Local Youth Development Office, extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who became part of this successful FREE Basketball Clinic Program.

𝗠𝗖𝗕𝗟 (𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗖𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲) after surviving an electrifying down-to-the-wire battle against Playtown Exclusive, 𝟴𝟬-𝟳𝟲, today May 16,2026 at Cebu City Coliseum.

Despite the pressure, the Jr. OCCCI SHEERMasters stood tall and proved that 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁.

Beyond talent and determination, this victory reflected the team's discipline and trust in the process, guided by their coach Mr. Noel Mascariñas.

Adding more shine to this historic victory, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 was named 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲, leading the squad in a performance worthy of the championship game.

Here are the highlights of the 2ND DAY of the OCCCI FREE BASKETBALL CLINIC in Albuera.

𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟏: 𝐃𝐎𝐍𝐄! 🔥

The Metro Ormoc Community Multipurpose Cooperative (OCCCI), in partnership with the Municipality of Albuera through the Local Youth Development Office, officially launched its FREE Basketball Clinic Program today at the Albuera Gym!

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the unwavering support of Hon. Mayor Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa, Vice Mayor Hon. Mariel E. Marinay; the municipal officials; and the Local Youth Development Office headed by Mr. Rick Anthony Tolero.
The program commenced with participant registration, followed by the opening prayer and singing of the national anthem.

Representing Hon. Mayor Rolan “Kerwin” Espinosa and Vice Mayor Hon. Mariel E. Marinay and Mr. Rick Anthony Tolero delivered an inspiring message to warmly welcome the participants and encourage the young athletes to pursue discipline, teamwork, and excellence both on and off the court.

Messages of support were also delivered by Mr. Manuel T. Mislang, Branch Manager of OCCCI Albuera, and Mr. Joel Hinay, SHEER Advocacy Officer, emphasizing the value of collaboration in promoting advocacies and strengthening partnerships within the municipality.

Our SHEERDREAMERS displayed impressive energy, determination, and sportsmanship as they learned basketball fundamentals through drills, dribbling exercises, and teamwork activities. 💪
