This incident reminds us that while we all hope our children will never face danger, it's important that they are prepared to protect themselves when necessary. Taekwondo is not about fighting or looking for trouble. It is about building confidence, discipline, awareness, and self-control. The best victory is avoiding violence whenever possible and using self-defense only as a last resort.
As parents, we can't always be by our children's side. But through Taekwondo and other martial arts, we can equip them with the confidence, character, and life skills to face challenges safely, responsibly, and with respect for others.
