Snapshots from an unforgettable weekend at the Benguet Coffee Bootcamp. 🌱☕️⛰️

From coffee farming in the mountains, to roasting sessions filled with curiosity and collaboration, to brewing cups shared across different cultures and communities — the weekend was a beautiful reminder that coffee brings people together.

Hearing and Deaf participants learned side by side, while Filipino and French attendees exchanged stories, skills, and experiences over coffee. Different languages, different backgrounds, one shared passion.

More than just a bootcamp on farming, roasting, and brewing, it became a space for inclusivity, connection, and appreciation for the people behind every cup of Philippine coffee. 🇵🇭🤟🇫🇷

This happened today! Our workshop brought together deaf trainees, French interns, coffee enthusiasts, and aspiring brewers in one inspiring space of learning, connection, and inclusion. Led by deaf coffee trainor Jason Roquim, participants learned the fundamentals of brewing and coffee appreciation of our very own local beans through hands-on experience.

It was beautiful to see different cultures, backgrounds, and abilities come together over coffee — proving that opportunity, talent, and creativity have no barriers. From sign language conversations to shared cups of coffee, today was a reminder that coffee can truly build community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us today and helped create such a meaningful and unforgettable workshop experience. ☕🇵🇭🇫🇷🤟

Most importantly, this is a space for everyone — open to both hearing and Deaf participants
