A moment for Prof. Anjo Villanueva 🙏🤍✨

Jiu-Jitsu teaches us how to stay calm in the hardest positions and how to keep fighting when the weight feels unbearable. Our brother Anjo lived those lessons every day. Even when he couldn't physically be on the mats, he carried and fought on - this is why our DEFTAC black belts, under the guidance of Prof. Alvin Aguilar, have officially promoted him to the rank of Black Belt on December 28, 2025.

The black belt isn’t just a rank; it’s a testament to years of discipline, a refusal to quit, and a specific strength of character. Our brother Anjo fought his final battle with the same heart he showed on the mats in the 17 years he trained with us. He earned this through his life, his grit, and the legacy he leaves behind as a symbol of a journey completed with total honor. 🥋🖤

HISTORY for Giezel—an athlete who continues to raise the bar for women in martial arts and officiating.

🥇 🥇🥇🥇 This year she captured her first-ever QUADRUPLE GOLD in a single Jiu Jitsu tournament joining our Quadruple Gold Champion Club

🤼‍♂️ She competed in her first ever WRESTLING Nationals and walked away with GOLD and a slot in the Women’s MMA SEA Games 2025 Line up

🏆 Honored with the Trailblazer Award as the first and only Filipina professional MMA referee, officially recognized by the Games and Amusement Board.

🌍 Awarded Female Official of the Year during the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Awards night held in Tbilisi Georgia

Dominating on the mats as an athlete and breaking barriers as an official. Her journey is proof that with hard work, passion, and courage—you can excel both inside the cage and beyond it. 💪🔥
