A Year of Football Fire in Ilac

At 5 years old, it’s easy for kids to get hooked on screen time. But Ilac chose something better — real grass, real sweat, and a real ball at his feet. ⚡️

One year ago, he started from scratch with simple footwork and basic drills. Today, at 6 years old, #02 is a goal machine on match days. 🔥

The 5-Month Grind of Alfred Wall 💪

“I want to play football.”

That’s what Alfie told his parents — and he backed it up.

Five months later, #02 has helped his U8 and U7 teams win trophies. 🏆

Focused. Coachable. Eager to learn.

A Winger or Defender, Alfie has always got his teammates’ backs.

He creates opportunities in attack, makes goals happen, and when his team needs him at the back — he switches gears.

His defensive work helped secure a near-flawless tournament — but the real win is seeing a young player develop the discipline, grit, and team-first mentality to keep showing up.

Beginners to Winners — Part 3

Undefeated Elimination Run | August 31

What a performance from our U8 Team! 👏🔥

Roles were understood.

Positions were respected.

The defense held firm.

ZERO GOALS CONCEDED throughout the Round Robin.

With key midfielder and defender teammates missing, these young footballers stepped up, adapted, and played with confidence. They showed that when players trust their training, support one another, and embrace their roles, a team can rise to the occasion. 💪⚽

This was a well-deserved run for a group of hardworking young athletes — many of them still rookies, still learning, and still developing their football identity.

The Championship was not won this time, and the team brought home SILVER. 🥈

But the medal tells only part of the story.

An undefeated elimination run, a flawless defensive record, and the ability to compete and dominate despite missing key players — that is an achievement worth celebrating.

More importantly, these are the moments where young players learn that development is not always about winning the trophy.

It is about showing up.

It is about trusting your teammates.

It is about learning your role.

It is about responding when things don't go according to plan.

And most importantly, it is about loving the game enough to keep improving.

👏 Cheers to the mentors and coaches who continue to guide these athletes in training.

👏 Cheers to the parents who make the sacrifices, bring them to training, and support their journey.

🏆 And congratulations to our players — you showed up, competed, and earned your silver.

The Championship may have slipped away, but the development continues.

Beginners to Winners Part 1

Enrique’s Brave Steps

At just 3 years old, Enrique joined FC Belvedere. #3 was the youngest in our program. With discipline and courage, he stepped onto the pitch and into two tournaments, proudly bringing home silver and bronze medals. 🥈🥉

By being consistent, by being such a young follower, a year passed and now #3 is a medal winner.

Enrique shows that even the smallest feet can take the biggest steps. 💪⚽️
