The most powerful exercise in my free workbook has nothing to do with numbers. It’s a letter. To your child. At 18. 💛👇
In a world where everything feels uncertain right now, wars, rising prices, an economy that keeps shifting, this exercise hits differently. Because what you build today is what stands between your child and tomorrow’s instability. Not just financially. In terms of values. Worth. Knowing that they are enough. Most women freeze when they start writing. Not because they don’t know what to say. But because they realize, walang nagturo sa kanila noon ng mga bagay na gustong ituro nila ngayon. The letter isn’t really for your child. It’s the permission slip you never received.
Written in your own handwriting. And once you write it? You can’t unsee the gap between what you want them to believe and what you currently model. Iyon ang simula ng tunay na pagbabago. 💛
Drop in the comments: what’s ONE thing you want your child to know about money by 18? And if you’re ready to write the full letter, DM me KWENTO. Free. Yours. 💛

Last Friday night, I had my BaZi read by . And she described me in a way I wasn’t expecting. 💛👇
Alyssa Sanchez is what I’d call a modern day monk, someone who uses BaZi, an ancient Chinese metaphysical system, as a tool for self-understanding and guidance.
I availed because I wanted a different lens. Isang bagong paraan ng pagtingin sa sarili ko. And what she reflected back was surprisingly accurate.
The setup I grew up in. The way I absorb and carry everything, silently, until I can’t. The volcano beneath the stillness. She saw me. Clearly. Completely. Without judgment.
And here’s what struck me most: The things she described? They’re exactly what we unpack inside Ang Kwento ng Iyong Pera.
The patterns we inherited. The roles we never chose. The weight we’ve been carrying that was never ours to begin with.
Ancient wisdom. Modern workbook. Same truth. 💛
You were never the problem. The pattern was. And patterns can be changed.

What a week!!! Sobrang daming natutunan. And I’m still processing all of it. 💛👇
This week I showed up as a student. Consistently. Without hesitation.
♥️Photography: learning to see what only I can see.
♥️A meaningful conversation: being asked why, not just what.
♥️3D printing: watching my son’s fearlessness up close.
♥️Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: being humbled by a sport I thought I understood.
Each one different. Each one unexpected. Each one quietly asking the same thing: “Are you still curious? Are you still growing?”
And my answer, every single time, was yes. Hindi dahil mayroon akong lahat ng sagot. But because I’m not afraid of the questions anymore.
That shift? It changes everything. In life. In motherhood. In how you build your future.
Lagi tayong natututo. Lagi tayong lumalago. Lagi tayong sumusulong. 💛

I went to a photography workshop this afternoon. I came home thinking about money. Let me explain. 💛👇
Stories Through Her Eyes by Sheila Catilo, sponsored by JG Academy.
Full house today. The energy was incredible.
Two things she said stopped me completely.
One: “No one is like you and sees like you.”
Your perspective isn’t a limitation. It’s your greatest asset. In photography. In life. Sa kwento ng pera na ikaw lang ang makakapagsalita.
Two: “Sometimes you will never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
Sheila added: Make the most of the moments. Capture them as best as you can.
At naisip ko agad ang bawat Filipino mom na nagsasabi “mamaya na” sa kanyang kinabukasan.
Ngayon na. The moment is already here.

Your money story didn’t start with your first paycheck. It started way before that. 💛👇
Sa tahanan mo. In the things you heard growing up. In the feelings that formed before you even knew what a budget was.
And here’s the thing most people miss:
Until you understand that story, you’ll keep living it. On repeat. Without even realizing it.
Inside Ang Kwento ng Iyong Pera, the very first exercise takes you back there. Not to budget. Not to plan. Just to understand.
Because clarity always comes before change. 💛
Ready to look at yours?

I’m always learning. Not because I don’t know enough. But because there’s always something new worth knowing. 💛👇
This week I’m showing up as a student.
Photography. 3D printing. Ancient wisdom. Fresh conversations.
And honestly? The most financially dangerous thing a woman can do is stop growing.
Because the moment you stop learning, you start shrinking.
This isn’t just for the young ones.
It’s for the Filipino mom finally asking: “Ano pa ang kaya ko?”
That question, sis, is where everything begins. 💛
Still figuring out your money story and your why? That’s exactly what Workbook 1 is for.
DM me KWENTO. It’s a gift. It’s yours. 💛
Lagi tayong natututo.
Lagi tayong lumalago. 💛

Black Saturday. Ang pinakatahimik na araw ng Mahal na Araw. At sa katahimikan na ito, gusto kong isulat sa iyo ang isang liham. 💛👇
To the first-time Filipino mom in her 40s
reading this right now. Pregnant, parenting,
or somewhere beautifully in between. I see you.
I know what you were taught. Na ang pagmamahal ay nangangahulugang sakripisyo.
That a good nanay always finds a way. That putting yourself first is the same as being selfish.
I know what it cost you. The savings you never built. The version of yourself you set aside for now and now can’t quite find. I know you’re afraid it’s too late. That the rising prices, the global uncertainty, the weight of everything has made it feel impossible. Naiintindihan kita. I hear every word of that fear. And I need you to hear this:
It is not too late. Hindi pa huli.
Black Saturday always feels like the end. But it never is. Something is always waiting on the other side of the quiet. On the other side of this is a woman who gives generously AND sleeps soundly. Who loves her family deeply AND has a retirement plan. Who built something real in the middle of all of this. That woman is you. Naghihintay siya sa iyo. Waiting for you to choose her. 💛
This Holy Week, in the quiet of this waiting day,
I want to give you something to begin with. Not a budget. Not a spreadsheet. Not a plan that feels overwhelming. Just a question. And the space to answer it honestly.

Good Friday. A day of release. Ng pagbibitiw ng lahat ng napakatagal na nating pinasan. This one is for you.. 💛👇
There is a particular kind of weight that Filipino moms carry. Not just the bills. Not just the responsibilities. Not just the rising prices and the global uncertainty and the family group chat that never seems to rest. It’s the weight of being
the one everyone counts on. Lagi. Palagi. Without question. And somewhere underneath all of that,
quietly, patiently waiting, is a version of you
who just wants to breathe. Who wants to sleep soundly. Who wants to wake up one day and feel genuinely, peacefully secure. Hindi takot. Hindi guilty. Just free. That freedom? It doesn’t arrive all at once. It arrives the moment you decide
to finally be honest. With your family. Pero higit sa lahat, with yourself.
On this Good Friday, a day the Filipino heart understands deeply, a day about laying down what is too heavy, about trusting what comes after, I want to invite you to put something down today. Not your love for your family. Never that. But the story that says you are not allowed to have a future too. That story? Iyon ang pwede mong bitawan ngayon. 💛
The first step is not a conversation with your family. The first step is a conversation with yourself. With your money story. Your conditioning. Your why.
I made a free workbook for exactly this. Ang Kwento ng Iyong Pera: The Story of Your Money
Your first honest conversation with the story underneath your finances. Para sa iyo ito. A gift you give yourself. At regalo ko ito sa iyo.
DM me KWENTO and I’ll send it to you personally. 💛
Mahal na Biyernes. Bitawan na natin ang hindi natin sa atin. Para mayroon tayong mapunuan ng bagay na tunay na atin. 💛
