O Diyos, na sa pamamagitan ng muling pagkabuhay ng iyong Anak na si Hesukristong Panginoon namin,
ay minarapat mong paligayahin ang mundo. Hinihiling namin sa iyo na alang-alang sa Birheng Maria na kanyang Ina ay makamtan namin ang kaligayahan
sa buhay na walang hanggan.
Sa pamamagitan din ni Kristong Panginoon namin. Amen.

Ang Encuentro o Salubong sa madaling-araw ng Linggo ng Pagkabuhay, ay "sequel" ng "Prusisyon ng Paglilibing" noong Biyernes Santo. Pinalitan ng Cristong Muling Nabuhay ang Santo Entiero at ang dating Mater Dolorosa ay ngayo'y Virgen de Alegria --- Birhen ng Kagalakan. Sa ibang mga parokya ay isinasama rin ang mga imahen noong prusisyon ng Biyernes Santo lalo na ang mga apostol at mga babaeng alagad ni Hesus na ngayo'y nakabihis na ng puti o makukulay na kasuotan. Sa simula ng prusisyon ay nakatakip ang Mahal na Birhen ng itim, nababalot ng lungkot, at pagkatapos ng bati ng anghel, aalisin ang itim na telang nakabalot sa Birhen at mababanaagan ang masaya niyang mukha habang nakaharap sa Nabuhay niyang Anak.

Wala sa Banal na Kasulatan ang pagkikita ng Mahal na Birhen at ang Panginoon pagkatapos ng Muling Pagkabuhay. Subalit, hindi nangangahulugang hindi ito totoo, dahil nabanggit din sa Kasulatan na nagpakita si Hesus "sa marami". Bilang Ina, hindi kaya mas uunahin ni Hesus na ipahayag ang mabuting balita sa taong Kanyang pinakamamahal, lalo pa kung lubos ang pagdurusa nito noong Siya ay namatay? Sa "Spiritual Exercises", ang pagkikita ni Hesus at ng Mahal na Birhen ang unang pagninilay tungkol sa Muling Pagkabuhay. At sa Mariology ng Vatican II, si Maria din ang simbolo ng Inang Simbahan. Ang Mahal na Birhen na dati ay nagluksa noong si Hesus ay namatay at labis na nagalak noong Siya ay Muling Nabuhay ay kumakatawan din sa ating lahat --- ang Simbahan, ang Bayan ng Diyos na nakikiisa sa Kamatayan at Muling Pagkabuhay ni Hesus.

At 31 years old that I am now, I already failed a lot of times in the course of my life. Would you believe that I even took 4 Engineering subjects twice? I got a failing grade in one and withdrawn the three other. But those failing moments didn’t stop me from finishing the degree. Question: If you have a car and one tire gets flat, are you going to slash the three other tires? When you experience failure, daanan mo lang, ‘wag mong tambayan. I still managed to finish the degree on time and eventually passed the board on my first take and actually, getting the highest score in the subject where I failed during college. Sweet revenge wasn’t it? At some points in our lives, we will stumble and fall. No one is exempted from falling; it’s the Law of Gravity. Falling is part of the roller coaster of life. Have you ever seen a roller coaster that’s flat? None, right? There are quick turns, loops and sudden drops. And those are the things that make the roller coaster a thrill ride, same as triumphs and setbacks in life. It’s fine to fail; it’s part of the process. But quickly dust yourself off because staying there at the rock bottom is a choice.
