IATF APPROVED MECQ JUNE 5 to 20, 2021

The IATF has approved the request of the City Government of Davao to put the city under Modified Enhanced General Community Quarantine (MECQ).

The approved dates shall be from June 5 to 20, 2021 based on IATF Resolution 119 dated June 3, 2021.

1) For operational capacity of offices and establishments, we shall follow Dept. of Trade and Industry Memorandum Circular No. 21-19 dated May 14, 2021.

Affected workers of offices and establishments who are NOT ALLOWED (ZERO OPERATIONAL CAPACITY) to operate during the MECQ should coordinate with:

ISLAND HOPPING, SCUBA DIVING AND ALL AQUA SPORTS ACTIVITIES
In view of the resumption of limited resort operations and tourism activities effective March 1, 2021:

Island hopping, snorkeling, SCUBA diving and other aqua sport activities such as jet skiing, wake boarding, motor boating, water skiing, cliff diving, kayaking, snorkeling, banana boating and the like are ALLOWED.

However, snorkeling and diving shall be allowed provided that the guest will bring his/her own equipment such as snorkel, flippers goggles, floating gears and etc.

For ISLAND HOPPING and SCUBA DIVING in Dive Sites outside of the Resorts shall be allowed up to 50% operational/seating capacity subject to the guidelines set forth in another Executive Order to be issued thereafter by the Local Chief Executive.

Madyaw, Samal! As we reopen our island for tourist activities and resort operations effective March 1, 2021, please be guided of the regulations and protocols.
