And we made it—our five-day PFF D Coaching Course Training has finally come to a successful close. This meaningful training was organized by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF), facilitated by the Davao Regional Football Association (DRFA), and hosted by BlackRose Football Training Team (BRFTT Inc.) in Malita, Davao Occidental.
Through dedication, perseverance, and mental resilience, the coaches from different football clubs across Region XI have gained valuable knowledge and experience that will surely contribute to the growth of football in our communities.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the PFF instructors led by Sir Datu Abing Albert Ryan M. Lim, and Coach Ed Merill Walohan as well as the DRFA instructor coaches—Coach Ching Siega Delos Reyes and Coach Weng Sasuman —for sharing their expertise and guiding us throughout the training.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to DRFA President Ernie Ortonio for his generosity, and to Vice President Rex Xer Rodriguez for his strong encouragement to continue conducting coaching courses in Malita.

Day 4 of the PFF “D” Coaching Course
Another productive and meaningful session as we continue to learn, develop, and grow as coaches.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Philippine Football Federation instructors, together with the Davao Regional Football Association instructors—Sir Albert Ryan M. Lim, Coach Ed Merill Walohan , Coach Ching Siega Delos Reyes and Coach Weng Sasuman —for generously sharing your knowledge, experience, and passion for the game. Your guidance truly inspires us to become better coaches and leaders, both on and off the field.
We are grateful for this opportunity to improve every day. We are hopeful that all coaches will successfully pass the training on the final day tomorrow, May 11, 2026, and be able to take part in the graduation.

The second day of the Coaches Training became more challenging for the participants, as the topics grew more engaging and enriching, adding to the knowledge and skills of the coaches. The remaining sessions (Days 3 to 5) of the training will continue next week here in Malita, and we are hopeful that all participating coaches will successfully complete and pass the program.

Productive Day 1 | PFF Coaching Course
A productive first day of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) Coaching Course was successfully conducted in Malita.
Coaches from various football clubs across Kidapawan City, General Santos City, Davao City, Tacurong City, Davao del Sur, Santa Maria, Malita, and Don Marcelino gathered together for this meaningful coaches training.
The event was honored by the presence of Davao Region President Ernesto N. Ortonio Jr. and Vice President Rex Rodriguez of the Davao Regional Football Association.
The training was conducted by the Philippine Football Federation instructors, headed by Datu Abing Lim.
This gathering marks a strong step forward in developing football coaches and strengthening the football community in the region.

Today marks the first day of the DelMonte Football Tour 2026. Everything had been carefully prepared—from the travel schedule of players last April 9, to the games set for April 10 and 11. The teams went through proper training and conditioning, and all arrangements for registration fees, food, accommodation, and transportation were already in place.
However, despite all preparations, unforeseen challenges can still arise. Our football delegation was composed of six categories scheduled to compete in Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. Unfortunately, due to unexpected transportation issues, only two teams were able to travel. Still, we did our best to find a way so that at least two teams could represent the Malita Football Team in this tournament.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors who continuously supported and helped our young players. We also wish to inform everyone, especially those we reached out to for support, that the registration fees for the canceled categories (U9, U10, U12, and U13) are non-refundable, as per the policy of the DelMonte Football Tour organizers. Hence, we regret to inform that we are no longer able to refund the solicited funds as these have already been paid.
Despite these challenges, we remain deeply thankful for your unwavering support. We hope and pray that you will continue to stand with us in the future.
Let us all pray for the success and safety—both from injuries and during travel—of our remaining teams, U14 and U15, as they compete in the tournament.
