𝐆𝐁𝐋 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

In response to the overwhelming support and feedback from our community, the Gametym Basketball League (GBL) is pleased to announce two significant developments in how we will be delivering basketball to the people across Northern Mindanao.

𝟭. 𝗚𝗕𝗟 𝟯-𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻

The GBL 3-Month Regular Season — the format introduced in our inaugural Mayor Freddie Siao Cup Season 1 — will continue as a yearly competition running from January to April. The same standard of professional organization, media production, live statistics, and community engagement that defined Season 1 will carry forward into Season 2 and beyond.

𝟮. 𝗚𝗕𝗟 𝟯-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹

GBL is also introducing the GBL 3-Day Panalay Invitational — a new format designed to operate in between Regular Seasons. Through this initiative, GBL will partner with cities, municipalities, and barangays across Northern Mindanao to elevate their existing local tournaments by bringing in GBL's professional media coverage, real-time statistics, and online player recognition. The goal is simple: to give every community the full GBL experience, wherever they are, and whenever they celebrate the sport they love.

These developments reflect GBL's commitment to growing not just as a league, but as a platform for elevating community basketball across the region. We look forward to sharing more details in the coming weeks.
