Some of us walk into the gym carrying things we never talk about. Rage. Regret. Memories that still have teeth. We put our heads down, grip the iron, and give that darkness somewhere to work.
Every rep gives the anger a purpose. Every hard set turns pain into discipline. The weight demands control, especially when everything inside us wants to lose it.
We donβt all train to make our demons disappear. Some of us train to make damn sure they know whoβs in charge.
Not everyone learns to harness what haunts them. But those who do become hard to break. They carry their darkness without letting it choose their direction.
The devil can stand behind me. He can put his hands on my shoulders.
I still decide what moves me. And I came to conquer.
