🏐🇵🇭 RESPECT

Let's continue supporting Philippine volleyball as one community.

We can hope to see the original Alas Pilipinas players return. We can hope to see Jaja Santiago wear the national colors again. There's nothing wrong with wishing for that.

But at the same time, let's appreciate and respect the players who answered the call today. They chose to represent the country, carry the flag, and compete for the Philippines.

Different lineups. Same goal. Same flag.

In the end, we're all cheering for Philippine volleyball to grow and succeed.

Support the players. Support the team. Support the Philippines. 🇵🇭

A husband who loses his wife is called a widower.

A wife who loses her husband is called a widow.

A child who loses his or her parents is called an orphan.

But there is no word for a parent who loses a child.

Perhaps because the pain is too deep for language to describe.

No parent should ever have to endure the heartbreak of burying their son or daughter.

Our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the two athletes.

May they find strength in this unimaginable time, and may justice be served.

Rest in peace, Rene Baterbonia and Divine Adili 🦅🙏🏀
