This decision was never easy but after a lot of thought, I’ve finally decided to step away from sports photography.

I started this journey back in May 2025, and I can honestly say I never once regretted picking up the camera. Sports photography gave me purpose, adrenaline, connections, new friends, and countless moments I’ll always be grateful for. It challenged me creatively and personally, it became a meaningful part of my life.

This decision comes from a place of growth, not loss. I just want to focus fully on my full-time work, strive to be excellent at it, and more importantly, alot more time and care to my mental and physical health. Choosing myself and my long-term well-being hasn’t been easy, but it’s necessary and always the right thing to do.

Sa lahat po ng mga players, coaches, organizers, teams, parents, my family, my partner and colleagues na sumuporta at naniwala sa kaya kong gawin, maraming salamat po! You were all a huge part of why this journey mattered so much.

This chapter may be closing, but I’m moving forward with nothing but gratitude and pride, and hope for what’s next ahead of me.

Food for thought:

Know your worth and choose your clients wisely.
It’s okay to say NO, and it’s also okay to get rejected when reaching out for opportunities — that’s part of the process.

Collaboration should mean mutual value, not one-sided free labor. When photographers shoot for free, it shouldn’t be expected, it should always be a choice.

Thank you, 2025. ❤️📷

What a year for me to start my journey with sports photography.

Met a lot of people, made new friends, had a new family from this industry.

Maraming salamat sa lahat ng clients, parents, organizers, team owners, co-photographers and specially players na nakilala ko. You gave me more additional fuel to strive and work hard.

I know this will never be easy. I’ll get more rejections. Handle more problems but this is what life is all about. What matters the most is how you overcome all these challenges with a happy heart.

Laban lang sa 2026! Happy new year!
