Congrats to everybody in Legion-Fabricio Alabang, Quezon City and Laguna who got promoted to their new belt ranks !

We have been member since 2001 during FIAS Presidents of Josh Henson and Mikael Tikhomirov to represent the Philippines under the Progressive Fighting Alliance. We founded Russian Sambo in the Philippines. Then in 2008 we change the name to Philippine Sambo Association. We affiliated our group for the country with the Asian Sambo Federation under President Pulatov in 2008 and under FIAS President David Rudman. The last Asian Sambo competition abroad we did was in 2013 under FIAS President Vasily Shestakov was originally a Judoka. We distance ourselves with the internal war inside FIAS because the Philippine Sambo Association wants to remain neutral and did not want to take sides to oust anybody. We do not know what was going on with FIAS in 2013 and why all continental Presidents wants to oust the FIAS President Sheskatov.

Our Summer Program for Teens and Kids starts on April 17, 2017.
