Expect to catch us riding around the campus🗺, spreading our advocacy ✊ of sustainability, and building a community of cyclists faster than you can breeze through Atenean traffic! 🚲🚲🚲💨🚗

[October 17 Session]

Multitasking 🫨? No problem for our favorite Siklistas 🚵! May it be on the road or for the road 🛣️, SikAt’s got it covered! Magkaiba man ang gawain, iisa lang ang hangarin 🤩! Take a look at the happenings from our latest session, last October 17 😲!

Members split ways to embark on separate journeys through riding and repairing! More specifically, the organization conducted its first outdoor ride session, with a mix of hands-on activities for those who weren’t able to ride. As tradition for the org, the first ride session is allocated for skills-testing, wherein members’ skills and knowledge are observed and analyzed!

On the other hand, the org also conducted cleaning and servicing of abandoned bikes, which were turned-over from the Campus Safety and Mobility Office. Our repair-session included cleaning the bikes’ drivetrains, identifying parts in need of replacement, and much more!

Magkaiba man ang gawain, iisa lang ang hangarin! SikAt aims to foster and develop the diversity present within our members—from beginners to cycling, to experienced siranikos. We not only aim to empower our members, but to also encourage our members to empower one another!

Are you also confused in navigating Manila’s 🏙️ traffic-congested streets 🛣️? Are you yearning to expand your skill-set in bike-commuting, and biking in general 🚲?!

Here in Siklistang Atenista 🚴‍♂️, we tackle topics and activities which empower members 🫂 in such aspects! More specifically 🤓, we do so through a hands-on ✋ approach by biking around the Ateneo de Manila University 🦅 campus, which also allows riders to relax in the tree-filled landscapes 🌳🍃! Aside from this, we also focus on teaching road-etiquette🚦, bike-handling, utilization of tools & equipment 🔧, first-aid 🧑‍⚕️, and many more! Lastly, our organization welcomes diversity; from casual bikers 😮‍, hardcore enthusiasts 💨, bike-commuters 🎒, and more!

We aim to not only develop members’ cycling-skills, but also in empowering ✊️ them through teaching topics that are applicable in real-world, or real-road, situations! From bike-commuting workshops, campus exploration, professional educator lectures, and more, we aim to spread awareness regarding cycling as an alternative method of transport! 🏍 🚲
