Episode 10: From Operator to Leader

Leadership humbled me.

When I first started coaching, I was very autocratic. I wanted things done exactly my way. I wanted control.

Looking back, I realized it was ineffective—and honestly, a stupid way to lead.

So I changed.

But then I swung to the other extreme.

I became overly supportive to the point that I tolerated mediocrity. I allowed comfort. I was also moody—if the previous class didn’t perform well, it affected how I showed up for the next one.

And if I’m being real… I was judgmental too.

I would say positive words to my students, but deep inside, I didn’t fully believe in their potential.

SB LEAD changed how I see leadership.

I learned that leaders see the potential in people before they see it in themselves—and help ignite that inner fire.

I learned to pass the ball, trust others, and stop trying to control everything.

My coaching approach changed radically.

Now, I value teamwork more. Growth more. Leadership more.

Still learning. Still growing. But becoming better.

As a leader, what lesson humbled you the most? 👇

Episode 9: Goals for the Next 90 Days

This episode challenged me.

Because this time, I had to confront myself, raise my standards, and hold myself accountable.

It made me reflect deeply:

Who do I want to become?
Who do I need to become to get there?
And what is the real reason behind it all?

For the next 90 days, I’m committing to growth with intention.

✅ Build a community where we support and push each other to become the best version of ourselves
✅ Start building leaders
✅ Start a business
✅ Finish studying Self-Mastery
✅ Be more confrontational—out of love, not fear
✅ Spend more quality time with my parents

Growth doesn’t happen by accident.
It happens through standards, action, and accountability.

90 days from now, I want to look back and say: I kept my word to myself.

Episode 8: Self-Love

“The best love story is when you fall in love with yourself.” – MJ Lopez

One of the biggest realizations I had in SB LEAD is this:
you can’t give what you don’t have.

I used to think I was giving my best—but how can I give love if I don’t fully love myself?

Yes, we set standards.
But we also need to acknowledge ourselves.

And today, I choose to do that.

Self-love, for me, looks like this:

Serving the people I love.
Spending quality time with family and friends.
Learning more about myself—my patterns, my growth.
Treating myself well, even with the simple things like good food.
And showing up for myself… especially when no one is watching.

Especially when I’m alone.

Because that’s where real self-love is tested.

How do you show love to yourself lately? 👇

Episode 7: The Attitude of Gratitude

One thing I’ve learned in this journey is this: gratitude shifts your energy.

The moment we focus on what we already have, we move into a higher state—more love, more clarity, more abundance.

Today, I’m deeply grateful for my students and for the opportunity to serve as a coach and mentor.

I’m grateful to my parents for giving me this life and shaping the person I continue to become.

I’m grateful for Sir MJ Lopez and the SB LEAD community for the guidance, growth, and support.

And above all, I’m grateful to our Creator for the abundance and blessings in this life.

The attitude of gratitude changes everything.

Episode 6: The Difference Between Leaders Who Invest in Themselves vs Those Who Don’t

Before personal development, I was a YES man.

I said yes to every hangout, every request, and every situation—even when it drained my energy and went against what I truly wanted.

In short, I was a people pleaser.

I tolerated disrespect.
I tolerated comfort and mediocrity.
I had no boundaries and was afraid to confront people.

But after SB LEAD, one thing changed deeply:

I learned to love myself more.

Now, I no longer tolerate disrespect.

I realized that confrontation doesn’t have to be rude—it can come from love, clarity, and a desire to help relationships grow.

I now understand people better and appreciate where they are coming from.

Most importantly, I learned to say YES to myself and I’m no longer afraid to say NO when something no longer aligns with me.

That’s the power of investing in yourself.

What if success comes before growth?

One of the biggest lessons from this journey is this:
“Income does not far exceed personal development.”

If success comes but I haven’t grown enough to sustain it, it can all be gone.

The same is true in leadership—if the team grows but the leader doesn’t, everything eventually falls apart.

That’s why personal development never stops.

I started this journey from a place of fear—fear that I wouldn’t be able to help others and achieve the goals I have for my family.

But I’m learning that growth must come first.

Because wealth, impact, and leadership can only expand to the level of the person we become.

Why do we make the decisions we make?

One of the biggest lessons we learned from MJ Lopez is this: our life decisions are shaped by our needs, our beliefs, and our state.

We all seek certainty, variety, love and connection, significance, growth, and contribution.

What we choose to believe—whether fully true or not—shapes our reality.

And our state? It changes everything.
Our focus, the meaning we give situations, the words we tell ourselves, and even our body language can either lift us up or drain us.

Another powerful realization: having a mentor helps us see the framework clearly and take action faster.

Sometimes, clarity is the shortcut.

What belief or lesson has changed the way you make decisions in life? 👇

Sometimes, growth can look good on the outside—but deep inside, you know something is still missing.

I’ve read the books, consumed content from different mentors, and convinced myself I was growing.

But one of my biggest breakthroughs in the SB LEAD Program with our mentor MJ Lopez was this:

I am more than enough.

I am loved, and I have the capacity to give and receive love.

That realization transformed how I lead and how I help my students see their own potential.

The journey didn’t end after the program. I’m still learning, still recognizing patterns—when I’m at my best and when I make poor decisions.

The negative voices are still there.

But now, I choose the best version of me.

What’s one breakthrough that changed the way you lead or live?

Episode 2: The Power of Always Being A Student

From confusion and searching for purpose, I learned that life is about giving. But to give more, I must continue to mastering myself, building skills, and learning every day.
