When the going gets tough, the tough get going.

Motul HG Motorsports faced its toughest endurance race yet at the 8 Hour Makabayan Endurance Race Challenge Series Kagitingan Cup in Batangas Racing Circuit. The combination of driving a 90hp underpowered car around adverse weather conditions and car issues challenged the fighting spirit and resolve of the team.

Despite running on a single gear for the second half of the race, our #17 Cocomelon drivers were still able to deliver a podium finish on both the 4 hour and 8 hour endurance race for Class 2, taking us one step closer to our goal of bringing home another Golden Wheel Award at the end of the season.

It’s a Clutch Double Podium for Motul HG Motorsports #17 Cocomelon at the recently held 4/8H Kagitingan Cup at Batangas Racing Circuit! Despite an early transmission issue that left Cocomelon only with either 3rd or 4th gear to use, Danzel and Elljay took a dramatic drive to secure P2 in the 4H race while Russel and Mark took cocomelon home to finish P3 in Class 2 desipite a last minute clutch failure!

Every setback from mechanical gremlins up until the dynamic weather at BRC did not break our team spirit that ultimately awarded us valuable championship points, enough to secure third in the championship with only the 6/12H race left to spare at November.
