Masters Pinoy Pilipinas Basketball has resumed training at NU Nazareth, Sampaloc, as the team gears up for the upcoming Guam 45Up USA Basketball Tournament.

The team enters camp fresh from its golden run at the World Masters Games in Taiwan last May, where they dominated the Men’s Basketball 45Up Premier Division to capture the championship.

Present at the first session were veterans Roger Yap, Estong Ballesteros, Mong Basco, Rendell Dela Rea, Milo Bonifacio, Edwin Manabat, and Arvin Aguila, along with new additions Erwin Sta. Maria, Chris De Jesus, Popoy Banzali, and Adrian Alebin.

Absent due to prior league games were Paul Reguera, Arden Guiyab, Edrick Ferrer, and Gui Nabung.

Present as well in the practice is Mario Barasi Jr., the PBA Rookie Draft’s second-round top pick and 13th overall selection.
