The Tokyo Marui MK23 has been around for a long while and has spawned so many clones but none coming close to the original performance at the same price point. This particular newer production batch at least comes with a brighter LED light vs the older incadecent bulb ones. Still, holster options for running the pistol with both the LAM and suppressor are few, expensive, and hard to come by. Thankful though RenegadeCow has prototyped and produced a molle compatible nylon holster that can do what even universal holster struggle to. Now, if only I cqn source out more mags...

Military Cosplay, my take on "Nomad" from Ghost Recon: Breakpoint

I'm a few bits lacking from my "full" in game loadout seeing as the girlfriend had to use the gloves and I left my airframe helmet. Mk23 with custom holster, to accommodate LAM unit, from RenegadeCow mounted on my ALICE rig for more practical (in game airsoft) applications.

Well, we are now here. Definitely an old man picking up a young guy's weapon. Hopefully we get to zero this, field it, and of course stack a body count. It is a different environment with customization now since the advent of 3d printers further expanding the modularity and adaptability of platforms performing in multiple applications.

I got an old second hand WE CT25 model a few weeks back to maybe replace the non-blowback SRC vest pocket pistol. It takes a bit of getting used to but I've already registered a confirmed hit at about 20ft through foliage. Having a working adjustable hop internally makes so much difference over the smooth bore and the added recoil action is always a welcome improvement.

Went as armed local civilian/guerrilla for last weekend's WW2 themed game. A simple shirt, woven hat, old pants, and classic converse canvas shoes for footwear to round everything out. 3 long Thompson SMG mags and the pistol fit in the canvas gp bag.

WW2AA Christmas Game to wrap up the pewpew for 2025! It was really awesome to get the OG guys of the group back in a game with new friends too! See y'alls for more pewpew in 2026!

It's been a long 7 years from about July of 2018 to today. Final count is 114 as the day ends.

Had this been my only sidearm, I'd have reached my personal goal of a hundred notches a lifetime ago. Life gives us many different loadouts to fill and roles to attempt for just 1 sidearm to do it all.

Ownership of this thing started a bit weird with hop arm alignment but that got sorted by direct intervention as well as a new hop rubber. Mag leaks started showing up from around notch 30-45. By around notch number 50, the hop chamber started to fall apart slowly and a few chips off the metal. Notch 70 and onwards I was worried the outer barrel would give out but somehow it has survived.

I can shelve this now as it has proven its worth far beyond my personal expectations but I guess I'll keep using it until the next major repair is out if my financial threshold.

Documentation and catalog of rotation helps keep track of the wear and tear as well. The best is knowing capable enough service providers for when things do go wrong. Given everyone will have down time during the imposed election gun ban, best to keep in mind the servicing of your equipment.

This unit has been restored and tuned this AGM MP40 from non-firing, to firing .2 at 270fps, to fully functional at 379fps by our service tech partner and is once again ready for action one the election gun ban ends.
