Reality in Taekwondo

As coaches, we invest countless hours, energy, patience, and resources into every student who steps into our dojang. We teach techniques, correct mistakes, travel to competitions, celebrate victories, and stand beside our athletes through defeats. Yet one truth remains: no coach can force a student to stay.

Some athletes will stop training. Some will move to another team. Some will walk away from the sport entirely. That is their choice, and every student has the right to make their own decisions.

But before making that decision, every athlete should remember the people who believed in them from the beginning—the coaches who spent extra hours teaching them, the mentors who defended them when they failed, and the teammates who helped them grow. Loyalty may not be required, but gratitude should never be forgotten.

Talent alone does not create champions. Discipline, respect, perseverance, and character do. A coach’s true success is not measured by medals alone, but by the kind of person an athlete becomes after years of training.

To every student: never take for granted the sacrifices made for your growth. Opportunities, guidance, and support are gifts that not everyone receives. The choices you make today will reflect the values you learned inside the dojang.

And to every coach: continue to demand excellence, teach with passion, and lead with integrity. Give your best every day, even when appreciation is not guaranteed.

Due to the overwhelming success of our first batch, Strike Force Taekwondo Academy – Sta. Cruz is officially opening its doors for Batch 2 of the 2026 Summer Training Program!

We are now accepting enrollees 4 years old and above. 👦👧

This is your child’s opportunity to develop:
