SOLEN Basketball League

We wrap up Season 4 Commissioner's Cup of the SOLEN Basketball League by showing our final standings, Eliminations MVP, and Finals MVP.

Congratulations to all the teams and players who we recognize for their strong efforts and consistent plays. The league also recognizes Joshua Antonio of St. Sabers as the Eliminations MVP.

A special congratulations to Solen Badge for becoming the Season 4 Commissioner's Cup champions and to their player Richard Abetria for becoming the Finals MVP.

Due to inclement weather and for the safety of our players, the scheduled Finals Game 1 between Solen Badge and 1MG is hereby POSTPONED. Correspondingly, the Battle for 3rd between GM1 and Greenfield City as well as Finals Games 2 and 3 will also be POSTPONED.

1MG punches their ticket to the Finals

June 7, 2026

1MG secures their ticket to the SOLEN Basketball League Season 4 Commissioner's Cup Finals by defeating Greenfield City, 83-76.

Gian Naraga spearheaded the victory for 1MG with 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.

Thanks to a 27-10 run in the 3rd quarter, 1MG blew the game open that made it difficult for Greenfield City to make a comeback.

Christian Layosa led the gallant effort with 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Greenfield City is relegated to the Battle for Third match.

Solen Badge enters Finals

Solen Badge stun higher-seeded GM1, 72-70, to enter the Finals of the SOLEN Basketball League Season 4 Commissioner's Cup.

Richard Abetria led the way for Solen Badge with 25 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals.

Neither team led by more than double digits for the entire game and it all went down to the wire. JR Retaga of GM1 had two good looks from the 3-point line in the last 30 seconds of the game but both attempts were off the mark.

Mac Olib paced GM1 with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. GM1 is relegated to the Battle for Third match.

The winners of each game will face off in the Best-of-Three Finals series, while the losers of each game will be relegated to the knockout Battle for Third Place.
