IHMS - Team Defenders

A simple celebration for a meaningful victory.

The hard work and dedication of Team Jerome Defenders finally paid off as they were crowned Overall Champion in the IHMS Cultural Show 2026 held on February 27–28, with the theme “Sidlak sa Kultura: A Diamond Jubilee Special.” During the event, the team presented their theatrical play titled “Kombira,” which showcased creativity, culture, and the talents of the performers.

Through their impressive performance, teamwork, and preparation, the group earned the highest honor of the event. Aside from winning Overall Champion, Team Jerome Defenders also received four special awards: Best Director, Best Scriptwriter, Best in Sounds and Lights, and Best Actress.

The team also offers a prayer of thanksgiving, especially to St. Jerome, for his guidance and inspiration throughout their preparation and performance. They also extend their heartfelt gratitude to the seminary formators of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary for their support, encouragement, and guidance.

Indeed, this achievement shows that with faith, unity, and hard work, success is possible. 🙏🎭✨

On September 25 -26, 2025, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary proudly conducted its much-anticipated Academic, Literary, Musical, and Arts Competition. The two-day event brought together talented and determined seminarians who showcased their knowledge, creativity, and skills across a wide range of disciplines.

After a series of challenging contests and impressive performances, the Team 1 Jerome Defenders — emerged as the OVERALL CHAMPION. Demonstrating remarkable excellence, teamwork, and dedication, the Jerome Defenders delivered an outstanding performance by winning 15 medals out of the 17 events contested.

Their impressive medal haul included 6 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals, a clear testament to their preparation, perseverance, and determination to succeed.
