Unexpected Podium Finish!

A couple of weeks ago, I joined the Philippine Kettlebell Open 2024.

I had my doubts because it’s been a while since my last competition and since the pandemic, I had a hard time with the consistency of my training. I told myself that this competition will help me decide if I should still play or not.

I guess the kettlebell gods answered my question.

For the first time, I finished a 10-min event. I cleared my routine with my target RPM. I smashed the 100-rep barrier (112 total). And surprisingly, I got the 3rd place considering there are other online competitors.

It was a great learning experience. It made me realize that as long as I show up and be consistent, I can still play a sport that I love.

I would like thank the organizers and congratulations on a successful event.
