“As a woman in STEM, I’ve learned that competence grows through experience, continuous learning, and the courage to take on challenges.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight it’s built on discipline, integrity, consistency, and resilience.

To young women, be open to opportunities. Believe that you are capable of succeeding in any field you choose. The journey may be tough, but it will always be worth it. Armored with the right attitude, hard work, and strong values, you can achieve anything.”

As we continue the celebration of Women’s Month, we are proud to spotlight Karish San Jose, Financial Controller from our Bulacan Plant, who shares her advice for women pursuing careers in traditionally male-dominated industries:

“Pursuing your passion is the surest route to success. Nowadays, women meet and even surpass benchmarks set in traditionally male-dominated industries; excellence has no gender.”

Karish’s message reminds us that passion, dedication, and capability continue to open doors and redefine possibilities for women across industries.

Thank you, Mayor Belen T. Fernandez, for the opportunity to share Geocycle’s knowledge on waste management, proper segregation, recycling, and co-processing with the community of Dagupan City.

This initiative strengthens our partnership with the City Government of Dagupan and highlights the important role women play in leading sustainability efforts at home and in their communities.

When households practice proper waste management, small actions can create a ripple effect, building cleaner communities, stronger cities, and a more sustainable Philippines.
