𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞: TCC Chess Team Secures Back-to-Back ALCU 7-ICL Championships

Congratulations to the Talisay City College Chess Team for emerging as the Back-to-Back Chess Champions of the ALCU 7 Inter-Collegiate League. Through strategic moves, sharp tactics, and unwavering determination, the TCC chess players conquered the board and brought pride and honor to the Talisalite community, showcasing TCC’s excellence and competitive spirit in the game of kings.

This remarkable victory was made possible through the guidance and support of their coaches, Mr. Ariel Go and Ms. Karen Dela Pañe, whose mentorship helped the team make every move count.

𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗨 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Strategic Brilliance Lifts TCC to ALCU 7 Chess Title

Talisay City College (TCC) emerged as the champion of the 3rd ALCU 7 Inter-Collegiate League (ICL) Chess Tournament after tallying 19.5 points in five rounds of competition, besting five other collegiate teams in a display of strategic excellence and consistency.

Carcar City College secured 2nd place with 14.5 points, while Sibonga Community College settled for 3rd place after finishing with 13.5 points. Lapu-Lapu City College placed 4th with 10.5 points, followed by Mandaue City College in 5th place with 9 points and Madridejos Community College in 6th place with 8 points.

The tournament highlighted the participants' analytical skills, discipline, and sportsmanship, underscoring the growing competitiveness of collegiate chess in the ALCU 7 Inter-Collegiate League.
