Fell short of reaching the Top 16 after a tough 10-9 loss against Mustafa Alnar. Being down 6-0 early, I gave everything I had to fight back and stay in the match, but came up just short in the end.

The 2026 UK Open Stage 2 began with the Top 128 knockout rounds, and seven Filipino players are still alive after their opening race-to-10 matches.

🇵🇭 Ronel Nalaunan, 🇵🇭 Bernie Regalario, 🇵🇭 Michael Baoanan, 🇵🇭 Marvin Asis, 🇵🇭 Jefrey Roda, 🇵🇭 Alexis Ferrer, and 🇵🇭 Harry Vergara all advanced to the Last 64.

🇵🇭 AJ Manas bowed out after a 10-5 loss to fellow young standout 🇸🇮 Maks Benko, while 🇵🇭 Patric Gonzales, 🇵🇭 Mark Capito, and 🇵🇭 James Aranas also ended their campaigns in the Top 128.

It was also another dramatic round across the field, with 🇭🇰 Robbie Capito stunning 🇺🇸 Fedor Gorst in a hill-hill 10-9 thriller, while 🇬🇧 Chris Melling was also knocked out after a 10-9 loss to 🇨🇾 Antonis Brabin.
