Pangasinan State University - Urdaneta City Campus ACE (Association of Chess Enthusiasts) Chess Club Try-Out

A successful chess try-out took place on November 22, 2023, at PSU-UCC. Four players were selected as the winners. Three of these players are Karl Orpilla, Mel Russell Angelo Angelo Rasco, and Rendal Allen Rasco Velasco. The three of them will compete against other players on November 24, 2023, to find out who the chess players will be sending to the PSU University Sports Meet.

Meanwhile, Roi Jethro Ramos secured his spot on the PSU-UCC Chess Team for the university meet after he succeeded earlier and in the previous try-out on November 20.

The winners of this ace chess club tryout will face the chess tryout qualifiers at the PSU-Urdaneta campus to determine the final players that will be presented at the university meet.
