Every Taekwondo athlete—every opponent—prepares with sweat, stress, pain, and sometimes injury.
This is the way of the warrior.

When you step onto the mat, you carry months and years of discipline, sacrifice, and hard work.
Winning or losing does not define your value—your character does.

If you lose at a local or national championship, you are still a champion.
A true Taekwondo fighter accepts defeat with respect, learns from it, and returns to training stronger, wiser, and more determined.

If you win a local or national championship, you are a champion—not by luck, not by “chamba,” but because your discipline, sacrifice, and spirit earned it.

Remember, Taekwondo is not only about medals.
It is about respect, perseverance, self-control, and an indomitable spirit—values that shape not only great athletes, but great people.

Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA) is the only recognized National Sports Association (NSA) for Taekwondo in the Philippines, in coordination with Kukkiwon Philippines, where Valenzuela Elite Team and IH Taekwondo are proud members.
