𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴-𝗴𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝗕𝗧𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝟯𝘅𝟯

Ipinamalas ng apat na batang basketbolista ng San Miguel Rural Development High School (SMRDHS) ang husay at determinasyon sa pagrepresenta sa lalawigan ng Catanduanes sa 16-Under Regional 3x3 National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) na ginanap sa Daet, Camarines Norte noong Agosto 1–2, 2026.

Binubuo nina Carlos Victorio Tesorero, John Kurt Dedullo, Mark Jonas Adiel Teves, at Marl Marren Panza, ipinakita ng koponan na kaya nilang makipagsabayan sa pinakamahuhusay na koponan sa rehiyon. Matagumpay nilang tinalo ang Ragay Playmakers ng Camarines Sur, 21-8, at ang KTLA 1 ng Camarines Sur, 16-13. Bagama't nagtapos ang kanilang kampanya matapos yumuko sa El Listo ng Camarines Norte, 21-16, iniwan nila ang impresyon ng isang koponang may puso, disiplina, at malaking potensyal.

Kasama ng koponan sina Coach Angelo Cedric Tribiana, Coach Jhonney Boy D. Bernal, at SMRDHS Principal Fidel Vegim, na naging katuwang sa paghahanda ng mga manlalaro.

Nagpahayag din ng pasasalamat ang team sa mga tumulong upang maisakatuparan ang kanilang paglahok sa regional finals, kabilang sina Atty. Richard Torreja, Francis John Templonuevo, Vice Mayor Noel Morales, Municipal Councilors Miguel Sacris at Antonio Tuazon, at John Joseph Tabirao ng Local Youth Development Office ng LGU San Miguel.

Bagama't hindi man naiuwi ang kampeonato, isang karangalan pa rin ang naidulot ng mga batang cagers sa San Miguel at sa buong Catanduanes sa kanilang ipinakitang laban at sportsmanship.
