From the Milo Small Basketeers Program, where a young Vincent Lao first learned to love the game, began the journey of a kid with a basketball and a dream.

Through the years, we watched him grow not only as a player, but also as a teammate, a friend, and a young man who carried his passion wherever the game took him.

That journey eventually led him through his Pasarelle days, high school varsity years, and college varsity career with his alma mater, the Ateneo de Zamboanga Azul Aguilas, where he proudly wore the colors and represented his school on the court.

His toughness on the court will never be forgotten.

He was the kind of player who was always there when his teammates needed him—defending, fighting for every possession, taking on the toughest assignments, and making sacrifices for the team. He played with heart, courage, and a willingness to put his teammates before himself.

From a Small Basketeer to an Azul Aguila, his journey was filled with memories, friendships, sacrifices, victories, and moments that will forever remain with those who shared the court with him.

The jerseys changed.
The courts changed.
The years passed.

But his heart for the game and his heart for his teammates never changed.

And while Vincent may no longer be with us, the memories he created will continue to live on in every game, every jersey, every teammate, and every heart he touched.

Heads up, Atenistas!

The College Midterm Examinations for the First Semester of School Year 2026-2027 will be on SEPTEMBER 7 to 10, 2026, with SEPTEMBER 11, 2026, designated for SPECIAL EXAMS.

Exam schedules can be found in the AdZU Portal. Please note that the special exam day is designated for conflicts and other valid reasons, and students and their teachers will arrange schedules for this day on a case-by-case basis.

IMPORTANT REMINDER: Secure your EXAM SLIP from the Finance Office and present it to the proctor for signing during the exam
