ith common goal. Formal election and induction of officers took place early 2002. Perla Jalao as its pioneer member took the presidency and the rest assumed as officers. The same year, Mini Fonda De Gapuh was founded. These were a series of activities started from February 21-27 to commemorate its annual feast. In 2003 onwards, the organization expands its scope and started to engage in social services such as Community Service (clean up drive, beautification project, trainings, seminars, sports fest, medical and dental mission, annual love drive and others). The organization was handled by different sets of officers and stand stood until the present. In 2011, the organization was renamed as Gapuh Youth Organization for Peace and Development for appropriation purposes. Also, in the same year it commemorated a decade as an established and active organization in the community.
