𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧 𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗖𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧 𝗕𝗖 𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗕𝗦, 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗠𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗦

Cricket BC wishes to inform all affiliated and registered clubs, players, parents, officials, supporters, and registered members that the previous Cricket BC page remains inaccessible to the current administration due to an ongoing transition issue involving access credentials and administrative control.

Despite repeated efforts, the current administration has not yet received the username, password, or administrative access required to manage the previous page and communicate effectively with the cricket community. The previous page remains under the control of the former administration, including 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿, and access has not yet been transferred to the current Cricket BC administration.

To ensure timely, transparent, and uninterrupted communication with our cricket community, 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗖 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱.

We encourage all clubs, players, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers, supporters, and registered members to follow this new page for official announcements, schedules, programs, registrations, player pathway updates, governance updates, and future initiatives.

Cricket BC remains committed to 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆, 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, and ensuring uninterrupted communication with all stakeholders.

We would also like to reassure all affiliated clubs and registered players that participation through Cricket BC member clubs and sanctioned programs provides a 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Cricket BC also works with recognized member and partner organizations across British Columbia, including 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀, and other affiliated clubs and cricket organizations committed to growing the game.

𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥 𝐑𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐚𝐪 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐏𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫-𝟒𝟎𝐬 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐢

The Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association has announced the 18-member national squad for the IMC Over-40s T20 World Cup 2025, featuring a blend of renowned former international players and consistent veteran performers. The squad was announced by Former Test Player and PVCA’s Chief Selector Ajaz Ahmed Faquih.

Former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq, who represented Pakistan in 343 international matches across formats, scoring over 7,400 runs and taking more than 380 wickets, will captain the side. The inclusion of superstar Shahid Afridi, who played 524 international matches, scoring over 11,000 runs and claiming over 540 wickets will add immense firepower to the squad.

Fawad Alam known for his grit and reliability has been named as vice-captain. He has amassed more than 2,000 international runs for Pakistan and brings valuable middle-order stability to the team. They are joined by Sohail Khan who has taken 51 international wickets, including a memorable World Cup five-for against India. Zulfiqar Babar with 54 wickets in 15 Tests; Tabish Khan a seasoned pacer and long-serving first-class performer with a Test appearance for Pakistan and Humayun Farhat, a former wicketkeeper-batsman who represented Pakistan in both Tests and ODIs — collectively adding depth, balance and experience to the lineup.

The legendary Javed Miandad will serve as the team mentor, bringing his invaluable experience and cricketing wisdom to guide the squad. He will be joined by former Test Player Jalal Uddin as head coach and Azam Khan as team manager, forming a strong support team for Pakistan’s Over-40s campaign.

PVCA Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan expressed confidence in the team’s composition, noting that it represents “the strength and spirit of Pakistan cricket at the veteran level.”
