Alhamdulillah, I am deeply grateful for the honor of receiving the Strong Woman in Sports Award from MNA Shandana Gulzar at the inaugural National Women’s Day 2025 Festival. I would like to dedicate this award to my family, whose unwavering support has been my strength. Special thanks to the Deputy Commissioner of Peshawar and the Regional Sports Officer of Peshawar for recognizing my achievements.

We were so excited to meet these inspiring national table tennis champions! Table tennis legend Mian Absar Ali attended the 2024 U.S. Global Sports Mentoring Program at the University of Tennessee, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, to explore the role of sports in fostering equal opportunities, inclusion, and peace. During the program, he developed a plan to promote sports and fitness for athletes with disabilities. PAO Rob Tate was honored to meet Abdullah Jan, the ten-time Pakistan Para Table Tennis Champion, and Tajmeena, a young woman who just won her first Gold Medal in the wheelchair category of Para Table Tennis. With Mian Absar Ali's expert coaching, they hope to represent Pakistan at the 2028 Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in the United States.
