کرسٹیانو رونالڈو نے مبینہ طور پر رمضان المبارک کے دوران سعودی عرب میں کھیلتے ہوئے اپنے مسلم ساتھی کھلاڑیوں کے ساتھ روزہ رکھنے کی کوشش کی۔
سابق کھلاڑی کے مطابق انہوں نے دو روزے رکھے، تاہم پیشہ ورانہ فٹبال کی سخت جسمانی مشقت اور بہترین کارکردگی برقرار رکھنے کی ضرورت کے باعث وہ اسے جاری نہ رکھ سکے۔
اعلیٰ سطح کے کھیل میں روزہ رکھنا خاص طور پر اُن غیر ملکی کھلاڑیوں کے لیے مشکل ہو سکتا ہے جو اس معمول کے عادی نہیں ہوتے۔
