Someone who prioritises meeting the wants of others over their own is a people-pleaser. They have a keen awareness of other people's needs. Yet, they struggle with self-advocacy, which can result in negative habits like resentment, self-neglect, and presumption.

When you repeat positive statements to yourself or write them down in a notebook on a regular basis, they can help you have a more optimistic outlook on the world.

I am proud of who I am and the values I stand for.
I trust myself to make the best decisions for me.
With every exhale, I release the need for others' approval.
With every inhale, I focus on what serves my highest good.

Indeed, you must keep others in mind. You ought to be considerate to their needs and sentiments. But, Don't forget yourself while helping others. Remember that you and your mental health is equally important than anybody else's.

Everyone else is important, but so are you. And yet, a lot of us act as though our importance is minimal or nonexistent. We are more concerned with others than we are with ourselves. Once more, while it may sound like a value you picked up as a kid, it is unsustainable. When you start ignoring yourself in process of helping others, you lose yourself. Once kind, passionate, energetic and healthy you take a 360° change.

You take others a priority when you must see yourself as one first. You aim to be undemanding, low maintenance and agreeable. Again, agreeableness is a good trait, but expecting that your needs, views, interests, and values would always coincide with those of others is unrealistic. Conflicts with people do arise occasionally, and that's okay. Disagreements can be tolerated and conflicts can be resolved in a healthy relationship.

We are frequently told that one must be a people-pleaser and consider what the society has to offer in order to thrive in this world. But the truth is that you can only live a self-disciplined life if you respect yourself, put your needs ahead of everyone else's, and love yourself more than these social conventions.

Being self-disciplined doesn't always entail having everything in order, but it does involve how you view the world and how you prioritise your own efforts to have a balanced and well-maintained existence.

It enables you to choose and maintain your own behaviours, attitudes, and actions, all of which eventually promote success and progress. It empowers you to break bad habits, stop being lazy, and do chores within the allotted time.

How can we help you to become more self-disciplined?

Those who are independent and have a healthy sense of self-worth are self-sufficient. They are independent thinkers who take charge of their own destiny. What best characterises these people is their freedom of thinking.

Self-sufficient people can maintain their lives and care for themselves. They are independent and hard working.
Self-sufficient individuals take responsibility for their lives. They don’t depend upon others to tell them how to do something.

At one point in our life we all go through a phase where we realise that half of the opportunities that we missed are due to our own self sabotaging behaviour. We are acting from a place of "Lack Mindset". We don't consider ourselves worth these opportunities or good things in our lives. This attitude arises from low self-esteem.

When you have low self-esteem, you're more likely to have a negative outlook on life. When faced with difficulties, you may fear that you won't be able to handle them and decide to avoid them. You might be critical of yourself in your head.

Low self-esteem can make you act as a people-pleaser, which makes it tough for you to say no and create healthy boundaries

Low self-esteem leads to lack of confidence. You are awkward in social gatherings and avoid social interactions.

You dive into negative emotions. Sadness takes over you hence making it difficult for you to perform daily tasks.

You get extra sensitive towards criticism. You create unhealthy criticism towards yourself

Low self-esteem can be a very serious challenge since it effects all parts of our life.

You can achieve healthy self-esteem by being confident in your abilities with the practice of self-love. When you have healthy self-esteem, you see that failure is a chance for growth rather than a painful defeat.

Allow yourself to grow Mentally, Physically and Emotionally.

You're Courageous, Confident and Competent.

As children we are taught to be a certain way so we can be accepted by those around us, these standards often make us let go and become impatient towards ourselves , taking all the steps to save ourselves from shame and guilt that the world puts on us if we don’t fit into their perspective of perfection.

Growing older we realise one step at a time that we take fragments from our experiences to shape and accept ourselves according to what pleases us .

Stop waiting for the perfect moment or incident to transform yourself into who you've always wanted to become. Self love helps you to accept yourself for who you are and be the person you’ve always wanted to become.

Expressive.Raw.Positive and Peaceful.

Be the lead character in your own story.

Everyone is worthy of love and care, and that includes you, even if you don't feel like it applies to you.

You're deserving of contentment, joy and peace.

Time is definitely passing by and In the process of learning self-love one of the things I've noticed is that it starts with us sabotaging our own peace and stability without even noticing it.
Sometimes we think we're doing what's best for ourselves or that we're protecting ourselves but some of the habits we've created do more harm than help.

You have to stop allowing your fears to dictate your decisions. Address, accept and work through them, but we are done allowing them to make all of the important decisions

We are no longer saying "it's fine" or "it's whatever".We’re telling ourselves no whenever we think of short-selling ourselves for the needs of others We are gradually taking steps towards being transparent about how we feel regardless of what other people think or feel.

We are being honest and we are taking the time that we need. We are acknowledging our feelings, naming them, and working through them….
