CPEC:The 720 MW Hydro power Project is under construction on River near Karot Village some 1.7 kilometers upstream of Karot Bridge and 74 km upstream of Mangla Dam. The Project site is accessible through the road from – Kahuta – Kotli Road approximately 29 kilometers from Kahuta village, and 65 kilometers from Islamabad.
To be completed till 2020

عالمی بینک کی ایک رپورٹ میں کہا گیا ہے کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری سے معاشی ترقی کے وسیع تر مواقع پیدا ہوں گے جس کے معاشرے کے تمام طبقات پرمثبت اثرات مرتب ہوں گے۔
جنوبی ایشیا میں نقل وحمل کیلئے راہداریوں کے قیام کے عنوان سے یہ رپورٹ عالمی بنک کے اقتصاجی تجزیہ کار مارٹن Melecky اور عالمی امدادی اداروں نے مشترکہ طور پر تیار کی ہے۔ رپورٹ میں کہا گیا کہ چین پاک اقتصادی راہداری کے تحت سڑکوں، ریلوے اور بندرگاہوں کے شعبوں میں بڑے پیمانے پرسرمایہ کاری کی گئی ہے جس سے پاکستان کو اقتصادی ترقی کے فروغ، غربت میں کمی، وسیع تر فوائد کے حصول اورنئے تجارتی راستوں کے قیام سے متاثر ہونیوالی آبادی کیلئے امداد کی فراہمی میں مدد ملے گی.
یہ رپورٹ ایشیائی ترقیاتی بنک، برطانیہ ا ور جاپان کے بین الاقوامی ترقی کے اداروں اورعالمی بنک نے مشترکہ طورپر شائع کی ہے جس میں چین پاک اقتصادی راہداری سمیت مختلف اقتصادی راہداریوں کے قیام کا تجزیہ کیا گیا ہے.

CPEC: 180 Km Hazara Motorway First Phase Hasanabdal to Shah Maqsood Interchange .Next section will be operational for traffic in May 2018

Havelien-Mansehra section 180 Km Hazara Motorway to be completed by May 2018.First section is already opened for traffic in Dec 2017

136 Km 6 lanes Karachi Hyderabad Motorway M-9 completed
The contract of the motorway was given to Frontier Works Organization (FWO) under Built Operation Transfer model, The 136km-long motorway starts from Sohrab Goth at Lyari Expressway and ends at the T-Junction of Jamshoro, at a cost of Rs 44.2 billion.8 interchanges, 11 weigh stations and 2 service areas are also part of the project

19 Orange Train sets reach
: 19 out of the 27 train sets for Lahore Orange Line Metro Train have so far arrived in Pakistan while the remaining 8 will soon be shipped to Karachi from Shanghai port of China.

1223 MW Balloki Power Plant fully operational.
Steam Turbine at Balloki Power Plant was successfully synchronized with the national grid on 10-02-18. The testing and commissioning phase for 1223MW combined cycle has now begun.
