Need of the hour is to rescue the young generation from the dilemma of the bifurcation of classical and modern knowledge and to prepare such scholars who should be well versed in the sciences of the Qur’an and the Sunnah as well as in the contemporary sciences and arts. The scholars of this kind and caliber only can provide the ummah with much need intellectual and educational guidance as well as the leadership in various fields. Keeping this objective in view following sub-sections of the department of education have been conceived:
Specialization

There are usually many intelligent and talented persons among the young madrassa graduates, who remain deprived from pursuing higher education due to lack of opportunities, proper guidance and resources. The Center for Education and Research aspire to provide proper guidance, opportunity and resources to these young madrassa graduates to foster their learning skills and to enable them to carry out research on collective needs of modern Muslim communities. These researchers while having strong grounding in the sciences of the Qur’an and the Sunnah would be able to under take the task of Islamization of the current legal, economic, educational, political and social system, to fulfill the individual and collective needs of the modern day Muslim societies. Admission Criteria for specialization:

Dars-i Nizami with university graduation
MA in relevant field
M.Phil and PhD students
Scholars having a good experience of research
Proficiency in Arabic and English languages

Dars-i Nizami

The contribution of Madaris in safeguarding the sciences of the Qur’an and the Sunnah Subcontinent is well known. Not only in subcontinent but also throughout the Muslim world, from Morocco to Indonesia, Madaris have played their role during colonial domination. They have been trying to meet the basic Islamic needs of the Muslim communities in one way or another. And thus have been instrumental in maintaining, as much as possible, a linkage of the Muslim communities with Islam and Islamic learning. Despite this fact, it is a common knowledge that this system does not meet the even the general needs of a modern day Islamic state, nor does it inculcates in its graduates the capability to address the modern challenges. So there is a dire need to combine the traditional Islamic sciences and the contemporary modern sciences to meet the needs of our times. In view of this need the Center plans to teach contemporary sciences (from matriculation to graduation) along with the curriculum of Dars-i Nizami. Elementary Schooling with Hifz and Tajwid

The correct pronunciation of the Qur’an, its proper understanding, its translation into practice, and dissemination of its message is the primary duty of each and every Muslim. In view of this need the Center plans to establish an elementary school for the residents of the Gulshan-i Ta‘lim to impart the elementary education to children with special emphasis on the memorization of the Qur’an (hifz) as well as on its correct recitation (tajwid). Here special attention will also be given to proper Islamic character building besides education.
