Futsal is a form of football played on a smaller indoor court. It adheres to different rules compared to traditional soccer that is played outdoors. The official Futsal rules are established by the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and defined by the Futsal Laws of the Game.

Here are the rules and regulations of Futsal:

1. Number of Players
Each team is allowed to have five players on the court, including the goalkeeper. There is no limit to the number of substitutes on the bench, but the maximum number of substitutes is six.

2. Duration of the Game
The game is typically played in two halves of twenty minutes each with a ten-minute halftime break. The clock stops only during timeouts and at the discretion of the referee.

3. The Ball
The Futsal ball is smaller and weighs approximately 400-440 grams. It is usually made of synthetic leather or rubber and must be approved by FIFA.

4. Court Dimension
The court dimension is smaller than a traditional football pitch. It is approximately 40 meters long and 20 meters wide. The court’s walls and ceiling are in play, and there are lines marking the boundaries.

5. Kick-ins
When the ball goes out of bounds, it must be kicked back into play by the team that did not touch the ball last. It is kicked in from the sideline, similar to a throw-in in outdoor football.

6. Goalkeepers
The goalkeeper is the only player allowed to use their hands within the penalty area. They also cannot handle the ball outside the penalty area.

7. Fouls
Players can only use their feet, legs, chest, and head to play the ball. If a player touches the ball with their hands or arms, a foul is given to the opposing team, and the game resumes with an indirect free-kick.

8. Free-kicks
All free-kicks are taken without the use of a wall or a running start. It is usually awarded after a foul is committed by the other team.

9. Yellow and Red Cards
Players can be given yellow and red cards by the referee for unsporting behavior, which can lead to ejection from the game. Two yellow cards or one red card results in a player being sent off.

10. Penalties
Penalties are awarded for offenses committed inside the penalty area. It is a free shot taken without defenders, an attempt must be completed within four seconds of the
