The first team to whitewash SA at home in ODI Series! Alhamdulillah ❤️

Saim played a very responsible knock. Played the shots as per the situation and delivered the great performance first with the bat then with the ball. Rizwan played well. Salman's fiery knock helped get the target over 300 runs which became the difference in the end. Shaheen and Sufyan also bowled well.

Concerns: Abdullah doesn't seems to be getting along and needs a break badly. Babar needs to control the dot ball ratio and getting out in a similar fashion almost everytime at midwicket from last ODI WC. Must work on it.

Overall a great ODI series win. One to remember ❤️

Coming to the highlights of the match:

Positives: Babar getting back in touch, Rizwan played well. But Kamran stole the show, played according to the situation and counter attacked after the fall of wickets. Momentum changing partnership with Salman and then with Irfan. Kamran being a middle order batsmen and played like a finisher/ hard hitter. Abrar bowled well, seen the glimpse of 2021 Shaheen today, great energy. Overall, a great series win.

Negatives: Abdullah getting out in a similar fashion again and again, I highly doubt he will play the next game. Pakistan was sloppy in the field today with catches dropped and run out chances missed.

On to the next one with the hope for the series whitewash IA! ❤️

About Salman, he may not be suitable for t20s but you cannot just write him off from ODIs and Tests. He is quite consistent, energetic and have much better game awareness than many. What an all round performance today. Picked top 4 order batsmen wickets and restricted the target to below 250, which was looking to go 300 plus easily, and then finishing the game on his own and taking the side to victory. One more, Naseem is a better batsmen than Shaheen! Period!

Some positives from 2nd test, our spinners who were playing after a long time showed Raja and Co that Pakistan has quality spinners. Kudos to Sajid & Noman.
Lets not forget that the job is still not done and we have to win the next one to grab the series. For that, we cannot play 3 spinners on a pindi pitch definitely, as we have seen in the past. Pindi's pitch very rarely support spinners. Going with 2 spinners i.e. Noman & Sajid will do the job while having Mir Hamza in place of Zahid will help in getting quick scalps with the new ball. Hope Pakistan wins this test IA.
