Maaz Sadaqat looks like an upgraded version of Saim Ayub!

A very dull start to this PSL season!

There's no audience already in the stadium and with this low level of broadcasting, audience will definitely swtich to IPL. Players leaving PSL for IPL and no strict policy being announced.

Commentators looking tired as if we are watching a dead rubbers match. Captains that are mostly failed at international level are captaining the team. Except for this, I was excited for the duo of Saim and Sadaqat as opener but Sadaqat is also out for some games.

Sad to see this decline of PSL. I hope they improve as soon as possible because once a league loses its credibility and hype, it's over for it like we saw for LPL and BPL.

These much changes in the squad are done mostly when playing at home.

I don't understand these much change of players in squad that too in Bangladesh where the senior team players also struggles.

We all know what will happen now.

These players will be dropped after this series and we will rollback to our old bunch of players and probably play next series at home against B C teams where all those old players will perform well and will make us think they are the best and can win the world cup. And the cycle repeats.

Indian team playing with 4 left handers in top 7 and they dropped an off spinner (mcchonchie) who took two key wickets against SA in PP. Strange 🤔

A team started with 2 overs for 12 runs with both bowlers started off really well and would have bowled 2 more overs atleast easily, but then suddenly strange change of bowlers happens and then the end of the PP with score of team at 92? 80 runs in 4 overs. Very Strange 🤔🤔

NZ's highest wicket taker Ravindra comes on and takes the wicket on the first over but was removed after just one over? Very very strange 🤔🤔🤔

Overall, a final that was played just for India, and they didn't mess it up this time like they did in 2023.

Anyways, Congratulations India!

Need to play aggressive cricket tomorrow as there is no other choice so this batting has more depth and attacking options + good balance of fast bowling and spin with 4 proper bowlers and 2 allrounders who can bowl a minimum of 2 overs easily.

This order of batting is very suitable with Nafay as an opener would confuse the SL bowlers and he can utilize the pp if plays sensibly.

Dropped Babar because there is no anchoring needed and we already had to adjust Salman and Usman for captaincy and WK quota.

Going heavy on bowling because NZ has a very good strike power so having a variety in pace also will really help! Spin attack is really good. Abrar should be playing today as he has been our breakthrough spinner.

Had to drop the so called seniors i.e. Babar, Nawaz and Shaheen bcoz we have given them enough chances. I would have dropped Shadab too but since we dont have any allrounder replacement for him or Nawaz.

Better to give new guys confidence and more game time against Namibia atleast instead of playing the same senior lot that will perform against associate teams and will fail against the big teams.

Without Shaheen, Abrar, & Shadab: 89/6 in 14 overs @ 6.35 rpo

Shaheen, Abrar, & Shadab: 1/86 in only 6 overs @ 14.33 rpo

Now imagine the target with this RPO, it would have been hardly 140 runs.

It all started in Colombo back in Asia cup 2023 when india hammered and shattered us. We were #1 in ODIs at that time and after that defeat everything changed for PCT and we are not the same as we used to be.
So this should end in colombo where it all started.🤞

I have excluded Nawaz and Shaheen from the playing XI with the reasons:

Nawaz is very effective to right handers but indian team has mostly left handers so bowling part is out of question.

Shaheen has been bowling very badly since the start of this WC and conceding 40 runs against the associate teams consistently with no pace and no line and length. Better to give Salman a chance.

Naseem will be very key in PP, he can provide 2 or 3 overs with salman and faheem from the other end.

Other than that, we have 4 great spinners that would do the job for us even if they bowl 12 overs combined.

I would have played Nafay instead of Usman but his keeping is below average so that's the concern only.
