A meeting was held on 20 August 2026 at the Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University. Director/Principal IPP Kiran Bashir Ahmad , HOD, and the IPP team welcomed Ms. Marium Ali( ) Director Global Step - Study Abroad Consultants , along with her team.

The meeting focused on exploring future collaborations between IPP and Global Step, including a potential MoU, study-abroad seminars, student guidance, and other areas of mutual engagement.

The Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University Karachi, proudly presents the IPP Psychology Pathways – Summer Discovery Programme, a four-day orientation designed to support incoming undergraduate students and serve as a general outreach initiative for those beginning their academic journey.

Scheduled from 24, 26, 27 & 28 August 2026, the programme is designed to help students transition confidently into university life through interactive workshops, academic guidance, campus and library tours, student support services, faculty engagement, psychometric demonstrations, and an introduction to psychology at IPP. Participants will gain a clear understanding of academic expectations while building meaningful connections with peers and faculty.

The programme reflects IPP's commitment to fostering student success, academic excellence, and a supportive learning environment from day one.

The Mental Health Camp was organized at the Special Olympics Pakistan on 23rd July 2016 by the postgraduate interns of the Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP) under the supervision of Clinical Incharge Ms. Tooba Arshad.

The camp featured a series of interactive and engaging activities designed to promote the mental well-being of children participating in Special Olympics Pakistan. These activities focused on fostering emotional resilience, strengthening social connections, and developing positive coping skills in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through active participation, the children were encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and enhance their overall psychological well-being.

The Faculty of Professional Psychology proudly marked a strong presence at the 16th International Conference of the Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA), held on 25–26 July 2026 at Faletti's Hotel, Lahore. The conference brought together leading psychologists, researchers, practitioners, and educators from across Pakistan under the theme "Harnessing Collective Action for Social Change: Integrating Psychological Science, Policy, Practice and Community Well-Being."

The Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University Karachi, was ably represented during the Quick Insight Session II panel discussion on "Building Resilient Communities Through Collective Psychological Strategies." The Institute's perspectives were shared by Dr. Kiran Bashir Ahmad, Director/Principal, and Prof. Dr. Tahira Yousuf, contributing to the national dialogue on strengthening community resilience through psychological science.

Prof. Dr. Uzma Masroor, Dean, Faculty of Professional Psychology, also chaired a scientific session during the conference, reaffirming the Faculty's continued commitment to advancing psychological science, professional practice, research, and policy at the national level.

Prof. Dr. Tahira Yousaf, Professor at the Institute of Professional Psychology (IPP), Bahria University Karachi Campus, facilitated a two-day faculty development training, "Beyond Burnout: Strengthening Faculty Well-Being and Happiness," organized by the Department of Professional Psychology, Bahria University Lahore Campus (BULC) on 27–28 July.

The interactive sessions emphasized faculty well-being, resilience, stress management, and the cultivation of a healthy academic environment. Through evidence-based discussions and practical strategies, the training highlighted the importance of supporting educators' psychological well-being to enhance teaching excellence and institutional growth.
