This win isn’t impressive, especially against a team like Afghanistan Cricket Board in these conditions. If we were chasing even 150 would’ve been a real challenge. Playing one bowler short could hurt us in bigger games. Fakhar (unfit, didn’t field) and Faheem (clearly lacks captain’s trust) should be replaced by Hussain Talat and Salman Mirza to strengthen the bowling and unlock Haris’s potential. Both replacements are in good form too.

In my opinion, if Pakistan had opted for two spinners, they would have had a better chance. Additionally, carrying an out-of-form and out-of-place Shaheen could prove costly, especially with Hamza on the bench. Lastly, I find the strike rate of batsmen, aside from Shan Masood, to be concerning. Cricket has evolved significantly, and if Shan can maintain a strike rate of around 90, why can't other technically proficient batsmen achieve the same? In my opinion, having a strike rate below 70 on such pitches is unacceptable in any scenario, and this mindset can lead to costly consequences.
