To safeguard the rights of sports journalists of Pakistan. Affilaited with International Sports Press Association (AIPS)

Pakistan Sports Writers Federation (PSWF) was founded some 28 years back by Mr Ali Kabir, Farooq Mazhar and S.m.Naqi. It was revived by Amjaz Aziz Malik and Zahid Farooq Malik in 2009. After two year term of interim body, new elections were held in Lahore during the 2nd Congress. Mr Manocheher Zandi, Vice President, AIPS supervised the process. Rashid Ali Siddiqui was elected new president, Amjad Aziz Malik Secretary General and Nasir Aslam Raja, Treasurer.
