Our DSU Cricket Team put up a phenomenal fight, securing the Runner-up position at the LUMS Sports Fest 2025, where top universities from across Pakistan battled for glory. After a series of stellar performances, our boys showcased incredible skill and determination, making it to the finals against INU Peshawar.

From powerful batting to disciplined bowling and exceptional wicket-keeping, the team displayed true sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

Win or lose, does not matter, it’s the spirit that counts, and our DSU boys made us proud with their remarkable determination and passion.

DSU proudly earned the second position in the PCB & HEC Intervarsity Cricket Championship 2024. Competing among 12 universities, our team excelled in pool matches, showcasing outstanding performances. DSU Captain Daniyal scored an impressive 220 runs in just 4 games, Nihal, Shayaullah Siddiqui, Fazeel ul Haq, and Ahmadullah for their exceptional bowling, and Ahsan and Adil for their flawless keeping.

The journey to the top isn’t easy, but DSU Cricket has made it look legendary! We're thrilled to announce that our team has reached the finals of the PCB & HEC Intervarsity (Zone M) Championship 2024, securing a place in the ultimate showdown with a 28-run victory over Sir Syed UET in the semifinals, posting a formidable target of 282 runs in 45 overs.
This triumph follows a series of dominant performances, including topping our group with victories over KASBIT by a massive 153 runs, Sohail University by 142 runs, and more.
With 12 universities competing—among them NED UET, IoBM, IBA, SZABIST, Greenwich, Sir Syed UET, PAF KIET, Indus, Salim Habib, Sohail, KASBIT, and MITE—the stage is now set for an epic final against Indus University at the IBA Cricket Ground on Monday, October 28th, 2024.
Let’s rally behind our champions and give them the support they deserve! 💪🏏🏆

The DSU Cricket Team, which participated in the prestigious PCB & HEC Cricket Competition, secured a triumphant victory in their first match. They defeated Sohail University by an impressive 149 runs.

We wish our DSU team continued success in the next pool matches, which will be held on the 21st & 22nd of October, 2024

DSU cricket trials will be conducted to select DSU Teams A and B at Moin Khan Academy on Monday, 20th November 2023, at 9:30 am sharp. Interested DSU athletes are requested to report to Afridi, Ali Taha, and Ahsan. Proper kits are mandatory.

Note: The university bus will depart at 9:15. Players are requested to assemble at the Administration Block at 9:00 sharp.
